Metaphysical Sex

Most people regards sex as a reproductive mean; others see it as pleasure mechanism; then we have those who view it as the enemy of spirituality; and, finally we have the people who believe it to be a sacred act, an energy generator and an “ordering” catalyst.

Sex as a reproductive mean
We were commanded to multiply ourselves.
During a female’s fertile period (usually between the 12th and 14th days of the menstrual cycle), the contact between a phallus and a kteis may generate offspring; and many people consider this purpose to be the only one that a sexual encounter should have.
Well, I think God created sex for more purposes than this, nevertheless I’d like to offer an advice to the followers of such theory: if you are to use sex to produce children only; please do it with style...venerate your spouse’s (or companion’s) body; respect its rhythm, feel its scent, hear its pledge; love the art, love the future parent...and beautiful kids may be generated.

Sex as a pleasure mechanism
It is true that when sex is well performed it renders high levels of pleasure; so high that one feels like he’s been transported to heaven; and when experiencing multiple orgasms, one could swear that he’d seen God’s visage.
But there is a compounded question: is this kind of pleasure reachable with multiple partners; if one doesn’t reach it with one lover should he test several lovers until he finds one that provides such level of pleasure; and it is safe as long as one uses condoms?
Answer: if one needs multiple partners to have pleasure, it’s because he is looking for something (or someone) missing in his life, rather than pleasure (he’s using pseudo-pleasure to fill a void). If one doesn’t reach deep pleasure with a certain lover, then it might be due to 2 causes; 1- the lover is not good and needs to be taught, 2- one doesn’t feel at ease with his own sexuality.
There is a subtle danger in lover-hopping: when one unites sexually to someone, it is not only his body that bonds to another but it is also his soul that intertwines with his lover’s; meaning that one absorbs the other’s energy (be it good or bad) creating, thus, a long-existing connection to this person (that sometimes transcends life on earth). When disrespectful, disorder & recklessly using others for sex, rage (and other negative forms of sentiment) may be generated which can be extremely harmful to one’s own aura (thus endangering one’s health).
Condoms prevent STDs; however they don’t prevent the effects, or the burden, that promiscuity brings upon the soul.

Sex as an enemy of spirituality
A total absurd. If people opt by not having sex, it is their own choice; however those who make this decision and, yet declare sex as a foe of spirituality; I’m afraid this may show that they are poor sexual performers, distractive people or maniacs who think with their sexual organ instead of thinking with their brain. When it’s time to pray and meditate, just focus and do it; when it’s time to have sex, just focus and do it properly. It’s that simple.

Sex as an energy generator & magic tool
Some metaphysical societies state that sex is the primordial force, crucial to all living beings; the most powerful energy in Nature and the “greatest proof of God’s existence” (Pascal Beverly Randolph). They also defend that when a man and woman (in sacred union) copulate, they generate a powerful energy that when properly directed it can “move mountains”; that is when an experienced couple engages in sexual intercourse, their minds can attract whatever they wish for – this is called Magia Sexualis.
(This practice is not to be performed by inexperienced people; for they’d have to be proficient in volancy, ordering, posism and Tirauclairisme)

In order to fully enjoy sex one must find a person with whom he shares a deep emotional, intellectual, physical and metaphysical connection. So be patient, love and be careful with your energetic field.

  1. ~Greetings Max~

Ensorcel words you have herded together, I must admit to being rather curios about your words.

Throughout the multiverse there are magnitudinous threads of thought. Yet the three most common views are sex as extension of war, sex as pleasure threads and sex as DNA proliferation (a sub category of sex as war in some schools of thought).

Your “sex as a reproductive means” is intriguing, of course outside of SOL 3 every act of sexual coitus is consummated by DNA proliferation.

Curious>> What do you mean by “God created sex”?

Your language seems to denote a vague primitive understanding of pleasure threads; however it is interesting in light of the abysmal technology present on SOL 3.

Inquiring>>>heaven>> please explain. God’s visage>>please explain, ah deity.

In the multiverse we never have sexual coitus with the same individual more than once. Thru pleasure threads every experience and intimacy that is possible between two individuals is experienced instantly along with transfer of DNA, no other need for data conveyance is necessary.

Curious>>>lovers>>is love necessary for all DNA transfers among SOL 3 sentients, is the same true of non-sentients?

Inquiring>>>energy>>>pleas explain>>>condoms>>>ah yes latex sleeves used to>>eliminate DNA proliferation. This is absurd. Is your species mad? STDs?

Inquiring/curious>>>What is a soul? Where may I examine one?

Meditation is a prime acicula in experiencing pleasure threads>>>

    Inquiring>>>What is spirituality?

Where may I examine a metaphysical society on SOL 3?

I am uncertain of much you speak of however it is very informative in enlightening me as to the practices you participate in. You write using “he” why is this so? Are you not female?

EXTRAORDINARY >greatest proof of God’s existence< How is this so?

What makes a copulating union sacred? The DNA proliferation?

    You are a puzzling species.

  2. Hello EC :D!

"Ensorcel words you have herded together, I must admit to being rather curios about your words." - thank you, dear! And I am rather curious about yours too...

"Throughout the multiverse there are magnitudinous threads of thought. Yet the three most common views are sex as extension of war, sex as pleasure threads and sex as DNA proliferation (a sub category of sex as war in some schools of thought)." - I am quite cuirous about sex as being the extension of war....it sounds delightfully interesting.

"Your “sex as a reproductive means” is intriguing, of course outside of SOL 3 every act of sexual coitus is consummated by DNA proliferation." - is it? I didn't know that...

"Curious>> What do you mean by “God created sex”?" - do you know Who God is, EC?

"Your language seems to denote a vague primitive understanding of pleasure threads; however it is interesting in light of the abysmal technology present on SOL 3." - sorry to hear that, dear; but that is why I invite people, at the end of the article, to visit our sex expert: LS (I believe you know him well)....

"Inquiring>>>heaven>> please explain. God’s visage>>please explain, ah deity." - God is our Creator; whose face we have never seen (at least not here on earth), so the expression used is an hyperbole to suggest that the pleasure is so high that it seems like one has seen His face (which is what Souls aim at). Heaven is where humans believe souls go to after dying (= soul leaving their bodies).

"In the multiverse we never have sexual coitus with the same individual more than once." - you don't say? I am sure a lot of humans would like to live in your multiverse...

"Thru pleasure threads every experience and intimacy that is possible between two individuals is experienced instantly along with transfer of DNA, no other need for data conveyance is necessary." - it sounds highly pragmatic; however humans have the need for "data conveyance".

"Curious>>>lovers>>is love necessary for all DNA transfers among SOL 3 sentients, is the same true of non-sentients?" - love is not necessary for DNA transfers no; however when love is involved...how can I explain this...DNA transfers may be of higher quality. Non-sentients are supposed feel nothing...

"Inquiring>>>energy>>>pleas explain>>>condoms>>>ah yes latex sleeves used to>>eliminate DNA proliferation. This is absurd. Is your species mad? STDs?" - Energy, our souls are made of energy (the heat coming from the sun, it is energy; yes?). No, my species, when using the latex sleeves, are wise; for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are a very serious contaminator...

"Inquiring/curious>>>What is a soul? Where may I examine one?" - a soul is our thinking element; a body without a soul doesn't exist; yet a soul without a body lives.

"Meditation is a prime acicula in experiencing pleasure threads>>>" - is it now?

"Inquiring>>>What is spirituality?" - the connection with the Divine. When we go beyond flesh and reach our essence, our thinking element.

"Where may I examine a metaphysical society on SOL 3?" - darling, you would have to be introduced first...do you know anybody who belongs to one?

"I am uncertain of much you speak of however it is very informative in enlightening me as to the practices you participate in. You write using “he” why is this so? Are you not female?" - I do not write about me nor the practices I participate in; but I feel honoured that you would think so. I use the personal pronoun "he" for it is the universal pronoun for "Person, Man, Human Being", meaning that I am referring to both men and women (Man).

"EXTRAORDINARY >greatest proof of God’s existence< How is this so?" - for it generates life...and since He created us...

"What makes a copulating union sacred? The DNA proliferation?" - No...Randolph considered a sacred union a couple who would committed to each other and not to somebody else (Randolph was utterly against promiscuity).

"You are a puzzling species." - that is quite a compliment, thank you *bowing*!

EC, thanks for this most intriguing comment! I learned a lot! :D

    Cheers

  3. Hello Maximus;

I am looking forward to seeing how you played out this theme!

    You said:

    I respond:
Would you agree that there are those who combine these views in various ways and transmigrate from one position to the other fluidly?

    You said;

    I respond:
I would agree with you in everything in this section except for two points:

    1) Veneration is a type of reverence and worship. This would be idolatry.

    Venerate:
to regard or treat with reverence; revere.
[Origin: 1615–25; < L venerātus, ptp. of venerārī to solicit the goodwill of (a god), worship, revere, v. deriv. of vener-, s. of venus, presumably in its original sense “desire”; see Venus) ]
    From: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/venerate

Sex as a type of worship of self or other person is sin, however it can be a worshipful action if God is centered properly upon the relationship just like work, or anything else.

    2) Sex with somebody other than a spouse such as with a mere “companion” is fornication another sin.

    You said:

    I respond:
Sex can be extremely euphoric and pleasurable personally I enjoy sex very much. However what you describe seems to come very close almost intentionally close to that involving sex-shrine-prostitutes and ancient pagan religious practices.

    You said:

    I respond:
I note your use of the male personal pronoun.

The incredible pleasure derived from multiple partners at the same time never mind alone can be well…orgasmic to the extreme. Monogamy alone is not sufficient to attain what sex is truly about and neither is partner hopping.

    You said:

    I respond:
Max my friend I don’t buy the whole “energy” thing. However I of course do believe there is an intimate spiritual component of sex. When it is outside of a loving grace soaked respectful marriage between one man and one woman, husband and wife it is a sin. When it is within that relationship then it can be endowed with children and shocking amazing pleasure far exceeding that outside of that kind of relationship but that is not the whole story…

    You said:
Condoms prevent STDs; however they don’t prevent the effects, or the burden, that promiscuity brings upon the soul.

    I respond:
I agree with you here Max. Sex also does not feel as good with a condom from the male perspective.

Any more than “food as an enemy of spirituality” however both sex and food are at times abused by people. God created sex, and He delineates how it should be applied. When we step beyond His delineation we error, we counterfeit sex, we sin.

I understand the concept of the desire to procreate being an extension of the creatively of God but I do not believe it is the “greatest proof of God’s existence”. It may be considered one among many signs pointing to a creator God. It certainly does not come close to the verifiable evidence of Scripture.

As for the rest there I think we have enough on our plate or bed if that is more appropriate to the conversation….LOL

    You said:

    I respond:
How about marriage? Are you considering metaphysical to be fully spiritual? What do you mean by energetic field?

Sex is for procreation which is very challenging without it even today. It is for the bonding and pleasure of one man and one woman in marriage full of love, respect and grace for one another. It is part of being one flesh. There is a tremendous spiritual dimension to sex but it can only be accessed in a genuine living relationship with Jesus the Gifter of sex.

We haven’t had a real debate in awhile….
    :)

Very interesting, creative, well written and provocative article Maximus! (as usual)

  4. great post max! but you forget to mention about sex as a moneymaker. in my country, many especially the young ones are making a living out of it. well, it's the easy way to make money. enjoying it [i doubt it] and earning from it at the same time.

i have to agree with this...

"In order to fully enjoy sex one must find a person with whom he shares a deep emotional, intellectual, physical and metaphysical connection. So be patient, love and be careful with your energetic field."

  5. Oh boy Max, my dear, this is heavy duty stuff you have here, never really did study on 'sex' lol, however, what a coincidence, I was reading this book, 99 ways to be happier every day (not sure why - I am already happy, but I been trying to finish it for years now, so looks like I am getting somewhere, lol). But I came across a page - Dont' have sex looking for love, lol, but that's topic for another day. However, you made me laugh on some of the paragraphs, especially for Sex as a reproductive mean, kidding aside, I must say God was a genius, lol. Thanks again for heavy teachings, lol. Got to run...get some sleep. Anna :)

  6. Hello LSus!

"I am looking forward to seeing how you played out this theme!" - welcome to Metaphysical sex under Max's perspective!

"Would you agree that there are those who combine these views in various ways and transmigrate from one position to the other fluidly?" - there are people who combine the three first views, yes (cause by declaring sex as a foe of spirituality they prefer not to be spiritual and yield to hedonism only); but the fourth one combines only with the first one (not the second since the pleasure I am talking about here is the hedonistic type...I didn't want to be so obvious as to use the word "lust" cause that way the fun would have been taken away lol) and with the type of pleasure that is naturally attained in a true sexual encounter.

"I would agree with you in everything in this section except for two points:" - shoot...

"1) Veneration is a type of reverence and worship. This would be idolatry." - LOL three words for you: figure of speech...

"Sex as a type of worship of self or other person is sin, however it can be a worshipful action if God is centered properly upon the relationship just like work, or anything else." - but sex is a form of worshiping God.

"2) Sex with somebody other than a spouse such as with a mere “companion” is fornication another sin." - by companion, I meant a person with whom somebody lives with without having contracting a formal marriage; that sort of relationship is as sacred as a marriage to me. Remember that in the old days (OT) a marriage was a contract: your daughter lives with my master's son, here are the gifts for the family....grab the girl, take her to her husband, who will have sex with her...there, you're married.

"Sex can be extremely euphoric and pleasurable personally I enjoy sex very much. However what you describe seems to come very close almost intentionally close to that involving sex-shrine-prostitutes and ancient pagan religious practices." - yes, we have noticed that you enjoy sex very much, LS. LOL LOL LOL LOL say what? LOL LOL LOL...I am so sorry, I couldn't help but to laugh at this...where do you see implied that "sex-shrine-prostitutes" is involved here? The other practice you alluded to...please; it's not even close.

"I note your use of the male personal pronoun." - indeed, I do. "he" Universal pronoun used as "Man, Human Being" meaning both men and women.

"The incredible pleasure derived from multiple partners at the same time never mind alone can be well…orgasmic to the extreme. Monogamy alone is not sufficient to attain what sex is truly about and neither is partner hopping." - I beg to differ. Pleasure, high levels of pleasure can be derived through monogamy, if the lover is the right one for you or if you teach him/her properly.

"Max my friend I don’t buy the whole “energy” thing." - I understand well why you don't...

"However I of course do believe there is an intimate spiritual component of sex. When it is outside of a loving grace soaked respectful marriage between one man and one woman, husband and wife it is a sin. When it is within that relationship then it can be endowed with children and shocking amazing pleasure far exceeding that outside of that kind of relationship but that is not the whole story…" - interesting view..."respectful marriage"...I call sacred union even those who decided to live together, stay faithful, and die together outside the scope of what is considered a "respectful marriage".

"I agree with you here Max. Sex also does not feel as good with a condom from the male perspective." - *Bowing*! It doesn't? Why?

"Nothing in Scripture would support such a warped concept as “sex as an enemy of spirituality”. Any more than “food as an enemy of spirituality” however both sex and food are at times abused by people. God created sex, and He delineates how it should be applied. When we step beyond His delineation we error, we counterfeit sex, we sin." - describe God's delineation of how sex should be use, please.

"Would you care to name these “metaphysical societies”?" - I will share one only: The Brotherhood of Eulis.

"I understand the concept of the desire to procreate being an extension of the creatively of God but I do not believe it is the “greatest proof of God’s existence”. It may be considered one among many signs pointing to a creator God. It certainly does not come close to the verifiable evidence of Scripture." - I understand where you are coming from, LS; I really do. I think that what Pascal Randolph meant was that through sex one can create life (which is the living prove of God's existence) and that the energy generated through sex (for those who are attentive during the process) can put us in contact with our essence, which per se is a proof of God's existence.

"As for the rest there I think we have enough on our plate or bed if that is more appropriate to the conversation….LOL" - LOL LOL LOL that was a great line! LOL LOL LOL....

"How about marriage? Are you considering metaphysical to be fully spiritual? What do you mean by energetic field?" - I told you before that marriage is when two people get together, like in the old days, and seal their previous agreement with a copula and by moving into the same place together. God united them. Now, if people choose to get married through a temple, church, city hall whatever, it's their choice and it's fine as well. The important thing is to remain true to the sentiment, to the agreement.
Well, if we consider that the word "Metá" means "beyond"; and that "Physiká" means "physic, body" I would say that in this case metaphysical could be fully spiritual; and sex should be considered as such (and if it were, people would have more respect for it).
    I mean our aura.

"Sex is for procreation which is very challenging without it even today." - this assessment doesn't neighbour veracity, for there are a lot of people who have sex and do not procreate (even within marriages), for any specific reason. So, if your affirmation were completely true, we would have to think that married people who do not procreate, should not have sex (since that would be its main purpose); which is an absurd. I think God created sex not only to procreate, but also as a tension releaser.

"It is for the bonding and pleasure of one man and one woman in marriage full of love, respect and grace for one another." - as well, yes.

"It is part of being one flesh. There is a tremendous spiritual dimension to sex but it can only be accessed in a genuine living relationship with Jesus the Gifter of sex." - not one flesh; one spirit. "Jesus the Gifter of sex"...oh come on! And for others who do not follow Jesus...who gave them sex?

"We haven’t had a real debate in awhile….:)" - indeed! I am glad we are back *bowing*.

"Very interesting, creative, well written and provocative article Maximus! (as usual)" - why thank you, LS *bowing*! :D

And I would like to also thank you for this tremendously amazing comment :D! You know I am a great fan of your intellect and ability to provoke others lol.

Perhaps one day I might address sex as a moneymaker in an article :)! Thanks for the tip :D!

"i have to agree with this..." - I wish most would, dear *nodding*...

And thanks for the tip, once again! It is a serious matter that deserves our attention!

LOL I know how it is: I have been trying to finish a book, a friend of mine wrote, for years...but with little success.

"But I came across a page - Dont' have sex looking for love, lol, but that's topic for another day." - LOL LOL how about "look for love first and then have sex"?

  9. What a wonderful post and as always you deal with a delicate subject in a very readable way.

To me, sex is a wonderful gift to be shared with my one and only partner, my wife. In that frame, its everything from freedom, intimacy, energy generator as well as a magic tool to explore my own feelings as well as here's. Its like an energetic vault from where you can bail out power, love and care, inspiration and heavenly adventures.

Its a givers gain, done in mutual trust for equal opportunities as long as its done in respect between committed partners.

  10. Max,

"Most people regards sex as a reproductive mean; others see it as pleasure mechanism; then we have those who view it as the enemy of spirituality; and, finally we have the people who believe it to be a sacred act, an energy generator and an “ordering” catalyst."

Your knowledge never ceases to amaze me. From what I understand, bonobos, dolphins, and humans are the only species who have sex for pleasure. These species inherently understand that there is nothing wrong with the pleasure principle. When people see it as the enemy of spirituality, it is reflecting their own insecurity and doubt about their spirituality and sexuality. Sex and has been dragged through the mud, through misinterpretation, misrepresentation and misguidedness. It's no wonder people know what to do at all.

"...many people consider this purpose to be the only one that a sexual encounter should have."

I respect that view, but I wonder where such a view came from? Parents? Religion? Fear? Insecurity?

"...if you are to use sex to produce children only; please do it with style...venerate your spouse’s (or companion’s) body; respect its rhythm, feel its scent, hear its pledge; love the art, love the future parent...and beautiful kids may be generated."

Applause. (Whistles. Cheers. Roses.) I love this eloquent dance of words and meaning.

"It is true that when sex is well performed it renders high levels of pleasure; so high that one feels like he’s been transported to heaven; and when experiencing multiple orgasms, one could swear that he’d seen God’s visage."

What does God look like in a moment like that? Have you noticed how many people bring God into the bedroom? Doesn't God have enough on his plate (or bed?)

"...is this kind of pleasure reachable with multiple partners;"

Multiple partners, meaning at the same time or over a time period? Max, I think you are revealing too much about your behavior here. You have gotten too comfortable with us and now you want to compare and contrast. Are you also a dominatrix in your spare time? How do you find the time to do all of those things? (Just kidding my dear.)

I think various partners bring out different aspects. Since people are different, they look at things differently. For instance I went to the dentist last year for my annual teeth cleaning and there was a new hygienist. The former hygienist was so gentle, pleasant and very thorough. The new hygienist was so rough and heavy handed - she just wanted to get it over with. She did half the things that the original one did and it took her twice as long. My mouth was sore for two days. I won't be returning back to her. Imagine if that were a lover?

Getting back to your point of entertaining multiple partners and not achieving the same pleasure each time, I think it is different each time whether it is with the same person or a different person. We can't ever replicate the moment in time. It is a unique millisecond of our being, yet in our minds we try to regain that millisecond that will never return. Some milliseconds are better, some are worse, we just have to keep creating new spectacular seconds.

"Answer: if one needs multiple partners to have pleasure, it’s because he is looking for something (or someone) missing in his life, rather than pleasure (he’s using pseudo-pleasure to fill a void)."

    Agreed. (Clap! Clap! Clap!)

"There is a subtle danger in lover-hopping: when one unites sexually to someone, it is not only his body that bonds to another but it is also his soul that intertwines with his lover’s."

It is quite prevalent that so many people are serial daters. They are looking for pieces of themselves that are missing and that they will never find in someone else.

"If people opt by not having sex, it is their own choice; however those who make this decision and, yet declare sex as a foe of spirituality..."

Again, I think it is deeply based on fear and repression, maybe even early abuse. Somewhere in the development, they got the wrong information or had a bad experience. Sex is a sacred act of communion when two bodies intertwine in harmony and share the same space for a fleeting moment. For that time we are particles in space floating into nothingness.

"that is when an experienced couple engages in sexual intercourse, their minds can attract whatever they wish for – this is called Magia Sexualis."

I think it is beyond what the mind can imagine. It's indefinable and words fall short.

"In order to fully enjoy sex one must find a person with whom he shares a deep emotional, intellectual, physical and metaphysical connection. So be patient, love and be careful with your energetic field."

    Well said. Great post. Kudos.

    Sex Bomb Cheers.

I agree with what you're saying here. I must say I LOVE making love with hubby HE HE HE HE HE HE...But you're right, sometimes you've gotta teach each other about what feels good or right instead of finding other partners.

  12. Hello Renny! :D

"What a wonderful post and as always you deal with a delicate subject in a very readable way." - thank you, my friend *bowing*! I do try to write in a way that anybody, in any age, can understand it :).

"To me, sex is a wonderful gift to be shared with my one and only partner, my wife. In that frame, its everything from freedom, intimacy, energy generator as well as a magic tool to explore my own feelings as well as here's. Its like an energetic vault from where you can bail out power, love and care, inspiration and heavenly adventures." - this is absolutely beautiful!!! I shall say no more so that I won't ruin this beauty...

"Its a givers gain, done in mutual trust for equal opportunities as long as its done in respect between committed partners." - I couldn't agree more!

Renny, thank you so much for sharing this with us! Your input was of much value, to which I bow *bowing*!

    :D

    Cheers

  13. Hello Alexys :D!

"Your knowledge never ceases to amaze me." - why, thank you, darling *bowing*!

"From what I understand, bonobos, dolphins, and humans are the only species who have sex for pleasure. These species inherently understand that there is nothing wrong with the pleasure principle." - Amen to pleasure! So liberating!

"When people see it as the enemy of spirituality, it is reflecting their own insecurity and doubt about their spirituality and sexuality." - Hear! Hear! Lady A has spoken! I couldn't agree more...

"Sex and has been dragged through the mud, through misinterpretation, misrepresentation and misguidedness." - fantastically said!!! Sex should just sack its agent! lol

"I respect that view, but I wonder where such a view came from? Parents? Religion? Fear? Insecurity?" - Those are great questions...in some cultures, perhaps religion has had influence; in others some silly philosophies that claim that the sperm must not be wasted (please; so many millions of little spermatozoons...they can't all go to an egg, so eventually they will be "wasted", so might as well "waste" them in pleasure)...Fear, insecurity is usually what is behind these silly rules and thoughts *nodding*. With a lot of ignorance mixed in it too.

"Applause. (Whistles. Cheers. Roses.) I love this eloquent dance of words and meaning." - thank you, thank you *throwing kisses at the audience*! Then, consider it a gift to you :D!

"What does God look like in a moment like that? Have you noticed how many people bring God into the bedroom? Doesn't God have enough on his plate (or bed?)" - LOL LOL I have no idea...I have never seen Him (don't get me wrong now LOL)! I have noticed...but I don't think it is wrong, after all a life-producer-act makes us recall the Creator, I guess. It is like people are praising Him for such another great invention: sex LOL. But, I heard that some like to scream His name during the climax...*no comments*....

"Multiple partners, meaning at the same time or over a time period?" - at the same time, and without those partners knowing about it...*nodding*...

"Max, I think you are revealing too much about your behavior here. You have gotten too comfortable with us and now you want to compare and contrast." - LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL ah you kill me, girl! LOL LOL LOL nothing like that, I can assure you lol.

"Are you also a dominatrix in your spare time? How do you find the time to do all of those things? (Just kidding my dear.)" - ROFL...*tears in my eyes* LOL LOL LOL LOL no, I'm afraid I am not. Not my cup of tea. LOL LOL LOL this was an excellent line...

"I think various partners bring out different aspects. Since people are different, they look at things differently." - indeed.

"For instance I went to the dentist last year for my annual teeth cleaning and there was a new hygienist. The former hygienist was so gentle, pleasant and very thorough. The new hygienist was so rough and heavy handed - she just wanted to get it over with. She did half the things that the original one did and it took her twice as long. My mouth was sore for two days. I won't be returning back to her. Imagine if that were a lover?" - Oh no!!! Poor you!! No, don't go back, ever...she is a dental sadist! LOL she must be a terrible lover...cause if one doesn't do his job with love, one doesn't have sex with love either...

"Getting back to your point of entertaining multiple partners and not achieving the same pleasure each time, I think it is different each time whether it is with the same person or a different person." - yes...

"We can't ever replicate the moment in time. It is a unique millisecond of our being, yet in our minds we try to regain that millisecond that will never return. Some milliseconds are better, some are worse, we just have to keep creating new spectacular seconds." - I agree. And sometimes even the pleasure retrieved if one partner is different every time; let alone with multiple ones.

"Agreed. (Clap! Clap! Clap!)" - *bowing*...

"It is quite prevalent that so many people are serial daters. They are looking for pieces of themselves that are missing and that they will never find in someone else." - yes, because what they are looking for is within...in their essence. They just have to go and fetch it.

"Again, I think it is deeply based on fear and repression, maybe even early abuse. Somewhere in the development, they got the wrong information or had a bad experience." - could be, yes. But they have no right to prevent others from having sex at their will, under false claims.

"Sex is a sacred act of communion when two bodies intertwine in harmony and share the same space for a fleeting moment. For that time we are particles in space floating into nothingness." - Amen to that! I loved how you said this...gorgeously crafted!

"I think it is beyond what the mind can imagine. It's indefinable and words fall short." - *Max nodding in utter agreement*....

"Well said. Great post. Kudos." - thank you; merci, epharisto *bowing*!

"Sex Bomb Cheers" - LOL LOL that song is the bomb! LOL Tom Jones at his best LOL!

"I don't want to be a player" (Joe) Cheers

I agree. Besides, who will volunteer to be a sperm counter? What is their campaign, "Leave no sperm behind." There are so many unusual cultures around the world.

    ROFL. Tears running down eyes.

    "...she is a dental sadist!"

Like Steve Martin's character in Little Shop Of Horrors.

"...because what they are looking for is within...in their essence. They just have to go and fetch it."

They have to seek deeper pleasures of finding themselves.

  17. I just can't agree more with your thoughts max...I think a lot has been discussed before me regarding the topic...I can only say Sex will be the most fulfilling when both the partners enjoy the pleasures to the fullest and the most important thing is they can understand each others needs & not to forget communication is an important part during intercourse...if one partner is subservient, it will be very difficult so both should be active during the period...it should be done not out of any compulsion but when two bodies mutually feel the need for each other...lovely reading this post!

So much of human society have taken something which was meant to be joyous, beautiful and thoroughly enjoyed...and attached guilt and negativity to it....

Pleasure is a gift from God. As long as people are safe in what they do and do not hurt others... then live and let live I say ;).

    Much love to you,

Well said! Communication is absolutely vital when dealing with sex (well, it is crucial in all levels of a relationship)...

"What a fascinating discussion on such an important subject. I totally agree with you." - thank you...my friends are fantastic contributors, for their comments always complement the articles...*bowing*!

"So much of human society have taken something which was meant to be joyous, beautiful and thoroughly enjoyed...and attached guilt and negativity to it...." - indeed, and it is so sad...*nodding*. But of course this happened because a long the way people refused to deal with their own sexuality and then decided that society shouldn't either...well, I say: No More!!!

  28. MAX:

Nothing I write would express more clearly how I feel than the last paragraph of your article:

"In order to fully enjoy sex one must find a person with whom he shares a deep emotional, intellectual, physical and metaphysical connection. So be patient, love and be careful with your energetic field."

That says it all my friend.

    Happy trails.

  29. Max,
Boy, when you get it right....YOU GET IT RIGHT!!!!

My only question is why are you only talking to men? At no point did you use "she" or "he/she" you only used "he." That may have been an oversight, but I doubt it. I think that you were talking to "men."

Please don't take this the wrong way, but that feels to me like a little bit of a "superiority complex" when comparing men & women.

If I read this wrong, please let me know. If I read this right, I am curious to hear more.

This does not detract from the fact that you are RIGHT. However, women are not totally without fault.

"My only question is why are you only talking to men? At no point did you use "she" or "he/she" you only used "he." That may have been an oversight, but I doubt it. I think that you were talking to "men." " - LOL LOL very interesting that you saw it like that...who knows what went through the mind of Max lol *nodding*...

"Please don't take this the wrong way, but that feels to me like a little bit of a "superiority complex" when comparing men & women." - Don't worry...I understand what you are trying to say. But I can assure you that to me, both men and women are quite the same (when they decide to act up they will do it, without taking into consideration the consequences of their actions).

"If I read this wrong, please let me know. If I read this right, I am curious to hear more." - my dear friend, it is not a question of being right or wrong here...it is a question of your having read both sides of this article quite well.

"However, women are not totally without fault." - I utterly agree with you!!

Mel, thanks for this awesome comment! I love the way you read me :D!
