Plot and Betrayal

This is the continuation of “Eventualities”.
Option B won: “Before disposing of Klein we wish to know why he’s so obsessed by Elaine; and then we’ll think of a way to help the young couple.”
I’d like to thank all of those who participated in the selection of the best continuance to this story: you are amazing! Now, here’s the sequel:

You and I fly down and land on Elaine’s favourite tree, to observe the following events.
Elaine is kissing her husband’s neck when she realises that they are being observed. She kisses Christian’s ear and whispers «Someone is watching us!» he grabs her, throws her onto the bed and places himself on top of her while smiling…they kiss and he pushes a button to make the blinds slide down. When the room gets dark, they get up and rush into a room next to theirs; Elaine turns on the monitors, Christian sits by her and there he is…Mr. Klein.
«Wait a second! I know this guy!» exclaims Elaine, «Who is he?» asks her husband while dialling a number «Chris, we are finally looking at Buonfiglio! I can’t believe he had the nerve to come after us!» «You mean: after you, darling!» «Isn’t it the same thing, dear?» she asks while kissing his ear «Indeed it is [he kisses her back]…[“Pronto! Pronto!”] Oh, I’m sorry…Vittorio…ciao, come stai? [“Bene, grazie! How can I help you?”] You won’t believe who is here [“Chi?”]: Buonfiglio [“What!? Caspita…what do you need?”] Elaine needs you, capisce? [“I’ll be there tomorrow!”] Good, bring the twins [“Certo!”]! Ciao [“Ciao!”]!» Christian hangs up the phone and sees his wife staring at the screen; he places his hand over hers «Everything will be fine, love!» «Oh, I know...it’s not that! This guy was in front of me and I didn’t even recognise him!» «What made you realise it was him now?» «That stupid smirk on his face. He thinks he’s all that, when he is nothing.» Christian laughs and the couple proceeds with their surveillance job…

I tell you “I’m beginning to feel sorry for Ernest! Let’s go check on him!” and we land behind him.
[Cell-phone rings] «Hello [“Ciao, Tomaso!”]! It’s Ernest now [“Ah, sì…scusami…Ernest. How’re things?”]! Elaine is copulating with her husband right now, can you believe it? When she was with me I had to practically beg for some action [“Oooh, ma che…show some respect, eh! She’s married now! Anyway, that is none of our business; all I wanna know is: will you be able to get the recipe or not? That’s what you are there for!”]! And to think that she didn’t even recognise me: the B**** [“I thought you had changed your face…ma cosa faccio, io? Listen, forget about that woman; she will never be yours; not after what you’ve done to her father! Betrayal is the only thing he never forgives and if he hears that a man is chasing his little 'principessa' he’ll know that it is you! So watch your back!”]! Yeah, yeah…I’m getting that recipe and I’m outta here! [“Good! Get the recipe and let’s make money!”] Certo! Ciao [“Ciao!”]. Ernest hangs up and pockets his cell-phone. Then he feels this warmth on the back of his neck but when he looks back he sees no one. He gets up and heads home to design a strategy.

Next morning. [Door ring] Luca, the butler, answers the door «Signore Vittorio, welcome back!» «Ciao, Luca! Thank you; how are you?» «I am quite all right. Thank you for asking!» Then Luca beholds the twins: a set of petite young ladies with black hair and eyes, round faces, almond shaped eyes, cute noses, fleshy lips, golden complexions, scrumptious bodies and a walk of a deer. What a sight! They didn’t smile though.
Vittorio and his twins convene with Elaine and Christian in the study room. Christian sits on a large chair, Elaine stands by the window (observing the estate), the twins stand by the door and Vittorio sits vis-à-vis Christian: they decide that the recipe must leave the country (you and I are having fun watching all this, they got it covered).
«But where to, Chris?» asks Elaine «To a place where Buonfiglio would never return to: Sicilia!» «È veroSignore Alberto, your father (signorina Elaine), would kill him if he knew he was near the island!»…It’s settled: the twins will carry the recipe back to Sicily.
Elaine places the recipe in Giulia’s boxers pocket and a note in Giuliana’s bra.
Buonfiglio observes her «Aah, she is placing the recipe in her bra! She is teasing me! If only Tito were here to see this…so damn sexy!» he gets up and gets into his car.

At the airport. Giulia and Giuliana are drinking coffee at Garfunkel’s. Buonfiglio approaches and realises that they are two and the same [“Which one has the recipe?” he thinks to himself]; he flirts with both of them but only one responds to his signs. She rises from the chair and he follows her to the WC’s area. She pulls him, French kisses him and when he is about to put his hand on her breast…a muffled “dum dum dum!”…Three shots…Buonfiglio falls on the floor, the twins drag him into a closet and afterwards leave to the boarding room. On the plane, Giuliana re-reads the note Elaine placed in her bra “Put him to sleep!”…

  1. Hi Max,
Again, I love the photo! (Makes my head spin.)

"Elaine is kissing her husband’s neck when she realises that they are being observed. She kisses Christian’s ear and whispers «Someone is watching us!» he grabs her, throws her onto the bed and places himself on top of her while smiling…they kiss and he pushes a button to make the blinders slide down."

Talk about a mood spoiler. Maybe Klein is a voyeur? Does Christian HAVE to talk on the phone while Elaine is waiting? That is sooo rude. The phone DOES NOT belong in the bedroom. Anyway, I digress.

"All I wanna know is: will you be able to get the recipe or not?"

Klein is a cook? A chocolatier? Does he work for Willie Wonka? (Gene Wilder, not Johnny Depp)

"Then he feels this warmth on the back of his neck but when he looks back he sees no one."

    An out of body experience?

"The twins will carry the recipe back to Sicily."

They are carrying half each? Will they be on the same plane. The royal heir and the spare don't travel together for obvious reasons.

"At the airport. Giulia and Giuliana are drinking coffee at Garfunkel’s. Buonfiglio approaches and realises that they are two and the same...he flirts with both of them but only one responds to his signs. She rises from the chair and he follows her to the WC’s area. On the plane, Giuliana re-reads the note Elaine placed in her breast “Put him to sleep!”…"

There was a true story of a woman in Columbia who put knock out drops on her breasts and every time a man would get close to her, he would get knocked out and she robbed them. Gives a new meaning to the word "knockers." (It is a true story. Even I couldn't make this one up.)

    Back to the story.
Is that a new version of sleeping pills? Did they use a tranquilizer gun? Where was he shot? (I know it was the airport, but where on his body?) No airport security? No witnesses? This couldn't happen at LAX. (L.A. airport) Cops would be all over them like white on rice. Hmmmmm. Somehow, I don't think we have seen the end of "Klein." I don't think he is quite off to his afterlife yet. You are teasing us Max. Shame on you. Shame. Shame Shame.

    Afterlife Cheers

  2. Hi Alexys,

"Again, I love the photo! (Makes my head spin.)" - LOL it is indeed a gorgeous picture! LOL I think it makes anyone's head spin lol.

"Talk about a mood spoiler. Maybe Klein is a voyeur? Does Christian HAVE to talk on the phone while Elaine is waiting? That is sooo rude. The phone DOES NOT belong in the bedroom. Anyway, I digress." - Klein/Tomaso is astonished at how active Elaine is nowadays, cause he wasn't getting any when they were together *nodding*. LOL LOL...they are not in the bedroom anymore, they are in the op-room (next door) lol. But I always wondered about people who have phones in their bedroom...what is up with that?

"Klein is a cook? A chocolatier? Does he work for Willie Wonka? (Gene Wilder, not Johnny Depp)" - LOL LOL we wished he was a chocolatier, but no...the recipe is to (so I heard...bring your ear closer) preserve food in a biological way, it is a formula that won't alter the taste of food...of course I don't know any details yet lol ;)....
Johnny Depp...forget about chocolatier, he is chocolat itself...*nodding*. Gorgeous!

"An out of body experience?" - ESP. I guess he was sensing us behind him....

"They are carrying half each? Will they be on the same plane. The royal heir and the spare don't travel together for obvious reasons." - They went on the same plane. If they were to carry it half-half it would be a bad choice to fly together lol. LOL true, my dear...royal heir and spare always travel separately. But I wonder if the twins were really carrying the recipe, or if they are nothing but a fait-divers...

"There was a true story of a woman in Columbia who put knock out drops on her breasts and every time a man would get close to her, he would get knocked out and she robbed them. Gives a new meaning to the word "knockers."" - No!!! I'll say...it is a damn good plan, isn't it LOL? LOL LOL LOL yes, indeed it does offer a whole new meaning to the word lol *nodding*.

"(It is a true story. Even I couldn't make this one up.)" - ROFL...I am not so sure that you couldn't...you are a pretty good writer, my friend *bowing*!

"Is that a new version of sleeping pills?" - no sleeping pills...not deadly enough lol.

"Did they use a tranquilizer gun?" - LOL what does your intuition say?

"Where was he shot? (I know it was the airport, but where on his body?)" - Giuliana's short, he is tall...he is about to put his hand on her breast...I can think of two places for her to shoot that would knock him out of so much pain. Her orders were to "put him to sleep" (which in a way she did) but did he sleep for good?

"No airport security? No witnesses? This couldn't happen at LAX. (L.A. airport) Cops would be all over them like white on rice. Hmmmmm." - It is Europe dear. Europeans mind too much their own business, you would be surprised LOL. I know it couldn't...but here it could happen easily.

"Somehow, I don't think we have seen the end of "Klein." I don't think he is quite off to his afterlife yet. You are teasing us Max. Shame on you. Shame. Shame Shame." - LOL LOL LOL LOL is this your way to suggest that more should be revealed? LOL you reminded me of Senator H. Clinton now LOL LOL...

Alexys, thanks for your input...it made me laugh to tears *wiping my eyes*! You rock, girl! :D
Not to mention that it gave me some pretty good ideas!

Man, I need to get one of those buttons that makes the blinds go down.

  4. Hey Scott!

"Romance, intrigue, suspense . . . murder!" - lol it's got the whole lot!

"Man, I need to get one of those buttons that makes the blinds go down." - LOL they are so useful, aren't they?

Oswegan, it was nice seeing you here :D!

    Cheers

  5. I don't want to sound creepy, but I don't feel people watching (a kiss or a love gesture... NOT the rest!) is bad. Might actually be quite exciting!

  6. Max,

"Klein/Tomaso is astonished at how active Elaine is nowadays, cause he wasn't getting any when they were together."

    Maybe he wasn't "adequate?" ;D

"They are not in the bedroom anymore, they are in the op-room (next door)."

    Oops, I missed the transition.

"I always wondered about people who have phones in their bedroom...what is up with that?"

I know. Leave the phone in the boardroom and out of the bedroom.

"...the recipe is to (so I heard...bring your ear closer) preserve food in a biological way, it is a formula that won't alter the taste of food...of course I don't know any details yet lol ;)...."

That's very interesting and I have a script with a similar theme in the same vein as Bond.

"Johnny Depp...forget about chocolatier, he is chocolat itself...*nodding*. Gorgeous!"

He was okay before he went off on the Tim Burton deep end. Now he is just a caricature of himself. I saw Sweeney Todd two weeks ago - awful!. I like his normal roles. My fave JD films are, (21 Jump Street - TV), Ed Wood, Chocolat, Nightmare on Elmstreet, Donnie Brasco, Don Juan DeMarco, Once Upon A Time In Mexico and Secret Window.

"An out of body experience?" - ESP. I guess he was sensing us behind him...."

Then you should have really had fun. Tickled him with a leaf? Taken his wallet or something. Make him think he was going crazy.

"I wonder if the twins were really carrying the recipe, or if they are nothing but a fait-divers..."

    I wondered that myself.

"...you are a pretty good writer, my friend *bowing*!"

    Oh thank you my friend.

    "...what does your intuition say?"

It can't get a clear reading?

"Giuliana's short, he is tall...he is about to put his hand on her breast...I can think of two places for her to shoot that would knock him out of so much pain."

Kicking him in the shin or bending his fingers back? Or if she gestures for him to lean down, she can poke him in the eye(s).

Wait, that's not painful enough. Ooh, I just thought of it. I can hear all the men doubling over and growling in pain.

"It is Europe dear. Europeans mind too much their own business, you would be surprised LOL. I know it couldn't...but here it could happen easily."

Really? Even if they see someone committing a criminal act?

"Is this your way to suggest that more should be revealed?"

There is always more to be revealed. As a writer, I know the story is NEVER over.

"...you reminded me of Senator H. Clinton now LOL LOL..."

Oh God no - anybody except her! She's horrid. Full of herself. Full of lies and trying to change the system to suit her waning campaign. She and her cheating husband need to go to Bermuda or somewhere where I don't have to keep seeing them. Don't they all look like they were in Deliverance? (Cue banjo music.)

"Alexys, thanks for your input...it made me laugh to tears *wiping my eyes*! You rock, girl! :D"

Next time I will give you some tissue for your tears and I think you really rock.

    Phoenix Rising & Rocking Cheers

  7. Hey Zhu,

LOL no, you don't sound creepy at all, darling!
Oh? Exciting, eh? This is quite interesting, girl!

Thanks for your interesting input (it got me thinking) ;D!

    Cheers

  8. Alexys,

"Maybe he wasn't "adequate?" ;D" - LOL yes, we can put it like that ;D!

"Oops, I missed the transition." - lol it's ok, love!

"I know. Leave the phone in the boardroom and out of the bedroom." - absolutely! Would it be valid to think that people who have phones in the bedroom are dying to be interrupted (if you know what I mean)? lol *nodding*

"That's very interesting and I have a script with a similar theme in the same vein as Bond." - no kidding? THAT is interesting!!! :D

"He was okay before he went off on the Tim Burton deep end. Now he is just a caricature of himself. I saw Sweeney Todd two weeks ago - awful!. I like his normal roles. My fave JD films are, (21 Jump Street - TV), Ed Wood, Chocolat, Nightmare on Elmstreet, Donnie Brasco, Don Juan DeMarco, Once Upon A Time In Mexico and Secret Window." - I agree. Tim Burton is a bit...how should I put it...odd (to be nice). I loved 21 Jump Street! He was excellent as Donnie Brasco, in Chocolat, Don Juan deMarco (gorgeous), Secret Window and the one he was an inspector in London chasing Jack the Ripper (can't remember the film's title, what a shame) - superb! He is a good actor, wouldn't you agree?

"Then you should have really had fun. Tickled him with a leaf? Taken his wallet or something. Make him think he was going crazy." - LOL LOL LOL good angels don't do that. Only wicked spirits lol. But I must say that he deserved it though...

"I wondered that myself." - *sigh* so many possibilities....

"Oh thank you my friend." - you are most welcome *bowing*!

    "It can't get a clear reading?" - ROFL....good answer!

"Or if she gestures for him to lean down, she can poke him in the eye(s)." - LOL LOL LOL LOL nasty....n-a-s-t-y LOL!

"Wait, that's not painful enough. Ooh, I just thought of it. I can hear all the men doubling over and growling in pain." - LOL you know? LOL LOL....you kill me *nodding*.

"Really? Even if they see someone committing a criminal act?" - yes. I was shocked recently; cause in Lisbon, for example, someone shot a woman in broad day-light in a busy street and no one saw a thing, no one heard a thing. So, you see...it could easily happen in Europe, cause people never get to see anything (I don't even know how it is possible).

"There is always more to be revealed. As a writer, I know the story is NEVER over." - you are absolutely right! But when to stop, then?

"Oh God no - anybody except her! She's horrid. Full of herself. Full of lies and trying to change the system to suit her waning campaign." - LOL let me re-phrase that: your "Shame on you (...), Shame, Shame, Shame" reminded me of Senator H. Clinton. I don't feel comfortable with the way she chose to lead her campaign either. In the beginning I thought that she could do something good but then...well, everybody had the chance to witness it.

"She and her cheating husband need to go to Bermuda or somewhere where I don't have to keep seeing them. Don't they all look like they were in Deliverance? (Cue banjo music.)" - LOL LOL LOL LOL you forgot her anti-press offspring...

"Next time I will give you some tissue for your tears and I think you really rock." - lol I will appreciate that (it is not that I don't have some here, but I prefer your tissues: they are smoother lol)! Ooh, that is so kind; thank you *bowing*!

    Banjo music Cheers

  9. Hello Principessa Maximus;

    Wonderful use of David 2!!!

Let me see what you have gifted us with after we “forced” you to write “option B” LOL

    You said:

Sure a lot of kissing and nuzzling happening here….reminds me of Survivor! LOL

The MOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew it!!!!!!!!!!!! The twins, now that sounds ominous!!! All that Italian on the phone and didn’t order any pizza…

Excellent building of tension and mystery!

Now this is interesting you wrote “B****” as a substitution, I am curious as to why you used this technique. To make it a gentler experience for your dear readers, etc?

Wow what did he do to her father?

Very interesting “he feels this warmth on the back of his neck” is this foreshadowing or a premonition? Talk about multi-layered!

How did she get the gun past security? Did she then take it on the plane with her?

Giulia, Giuliana and Elaine = the Black Widow Brigade!!!!

Loved it Maximus!!!! It had a nice edge in the way you wrote it, I like the way I felt a little atilt with all the nuances, a spicy blend!!!!

  10. Hello Signore LS!

"Wonderful use of David 2!!!" - it is a wonderful image, isn't it?

"Let me see what you have gifted us with after we “forced” you to write “option B” LOL" - LOL LOL LOL...*nodding*.

"LOL LOL There we go being voyeurs again!!!" - LOL LS, not voyeurs...interveners instead (in case they needed any help).

"Oh great now see you got us caught!!!! OK I know you don’t mean us! LOL" - LOL LOL *nodding*....but hey, you gave me an idea...

"LOL Better than Hollywood!!!! Rather 007! Surveillance cameras! Sneaky Mr. Klein is in trouble now!!! Thankfully they didn’t see us!" - LOL thanks! I like spy movies too lol. LOL no, they didn't see us lol....

"No relation to the “Family owned and operated Buonfiglio Funeral Home” (http://www.buonfiglio.com/) LOL LOL LOL LOL" - ROFL I swear there is no relation LOL. "Buonfiglio Funeral Home" LOL that was an excellent one LOL...

"Sure a lot of kissing and nuzzling happening here….reminds me of Survivor! LOL" - LOL well, it is part of life, isn't it? Missing Survivor already, are we lol?

"The MOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew it!!!!!!!!!!!! The twins, now that sounds ominous!!! All that Italian on the phone and didn’t order any pizza…" - LOL please, Italy is more than pizza lol *nodding*. I wouldn't call it mob, it is more like an organised family...

"Excellent building of tension and mystery!" - why, thank you, LS *bowing*! I am pleased that you liked it! :D

"There we go flitting about; you’re going to get us in trouble! Careful you’re going to push me into that tree we’re flying past!!!!" - LOL don't worry, I have years of experience in these things....LS, LOOK OUT!!! *thump*....I told you to look out, didn't I? LOL

"Ernest was “with” Elaine!!!!!! Hmmm makes you curious about her taste….The “recipe”? Oh what is going on here?!!!" - LOL you are right; what went through her mind to date Ernest/Tomaso? Perhaps she was feeling merciful (there are women who date certain men out of sheer mercy) LOL *nodding*. As I told Alexys, I heard that is some sort of biological preservative that won't alter the taste of food; but I don't hold the details yet (hell, if they listen to me I may end up...) lol.

"Now this is interesting you wrote “B****” as a substitution, I am curious as to why you used this technique. To make it a gentler experience for your dear readers, etc?" - LOL I do not wish to negatively influence younger readers that might drop by...if they must be corrupted let it not be by me lol. And at the same time as a sign of respect to readers that might be sensible to common vulgarity.

"Wow what did he do to her father?" - Aaaah, I couldn't get hold of that piece of information yet...but I will. Stay tuned lol.

"Very interesting “he feels this warmth on the back of his neck” is this foreshadowing or a premonition? Talk about multi-layered!" - I would say that it is non-cultivated ESP (he was feeling us behind him)...however premonition is also acceptable, cause deep down we always know when we are about to experience danger...

"I have always thought the name Luca was cool…." - Me too. It is such a gorgeous name!

"Ohhh those twins! I haven’t seen them for years! I wondered what happened to them… LOL" - LOL LOL LOL you have a good memory indeed LOL! I am not going to ask in what circumstances you made their acquaintance...lol

"“fleshy lips” Argggg LOL LOL “scrumptious bodies” LOL LOL *snicker* “walk of a deer” Chapter and verse? :)" - LOL I am not going to make any comments, otherwise you might suggest that I am making jocose remarks about your pre-Jesus follower life...

"What is the recipe????? Pasta?? Keep reading LS..." - a biological preservative....

"Ahhh Sicilia home of erupting volcano and Buonfiglio" - indeed...that volcano needs to go back to sleep and stop bothering people lol.

"Elaine could be part of the Black Widow Brigade!" - LOL she is quite perilous, isn't she? So unexpected...*nodding*.

"“Tito” Michael Jackson’s brother? LOL LOL" - LOL I didn't even know he had a brother called Tito...silly me!

"Giulia and Giuliana are definitely of the Black Widow Brigade! LOL" - LOL I bet you never suspected when you met them in the past, eh?

"Garfunkel’s web page was undergoing work so I couldn’t check out more about their coffees etc…." - that was a shame...did you know that the majority of Garfunkel's (Heathrow) workers was Portuguese?

"She French kisses him and to think I thought she was Italian!!! LOL" - LOL LOL LOL I just used the name of the kissing technique. But now that you mentioned it: who on earth invented this term? Are people trying to tell me that the French started this type of kiss? Please...
But I suppose that it is better than saying "tongue kissing" lol *nodding* (that is the way we call it in Portuguese, so not sexy).

"How did she get the gun past security? Did she then take it on the plane with her?" - it makes us wonder in what kind of business she is in...! She might have taken it on the plane with her since the twins flew in a private jet...

"Giulia, Giuliana and Elaine = the Black Widow Brigade!!!!" - ROFL...absolutely! So beautiful and yet so dangerous LOL! *nodding*...

"Loved it Maximus!!!! It had a nice edge in the way you wrote it, I like the way I felt a little atilt with all the nuances, a spicy blend!!!" - I am so glad you loved it, LS :D! Thank you *bowing*! LOL now you know how I felt as I went through the first episode of "Surrender" on Life on the Blade (great show!!!)!

LS, thanks for this superb comment; I laughed a lot! It is always a pleasure to interact with you *bowing*! And by the way: thanks for the cooperation ;D!

    Cheers

  12. Hey Bob,

LOL LOL Are you saying that you wish to read more? I will think about it lol...*nodding*

I heard that the recipe is a biological preservative that doesn't alter the taste of food (this is the product of eavesdropping so I don't hold much info) .

LOL the good guys...well, it depends on how one looks at it lol...

LOL I will reveal some more soon, my friend :D!

Thanks for your interest in this series, Bob! I am glad you liked it *bowing*!

  13. Max,

"Would it be valid to think that people who have phones in the bedroom are dying to be interrupted (if you know what I mean)? lol."

Yes, I call that, "phoneus interruptus!" Ha ha.

"Tim Burton is a bit...how should I put it...odd (to be nice)."

He is oddly dark. He married his perfect partner. Helen Bonham Carter. I think he should have married JD.

"I loved 21 Jump Street! He was excellent as Donnie Brasco, in Chocolat, Don Juan deMarco (gorgeous), Secret Window and the one he was an inspector in London chasing Jack the Ripper (can't remember the film's title, what a shame) - superb! He is a good actor, wouldn't you agree?"

That film was From Hell. I used to think he was a good actor especially in the earlier films, but now he is a joke. Since he did Edward Scissorhands, he's become too clownish. In Pirates...he did a silly accent. In Willie Wonka he directly ripped off Austin Powers. In Sweeney Todd, he was a continuation of Edward Scissorhands, except he used a different blade to slit throats. In From Hell, he wasn't believable as Jack The Ripper. Now when I look at him, all I see is a cartoon character.

Btw, he has a career because his ex wife (an actress) introduced him to Nicolas Cage who in turn introduced him to his agent.

I loved his performance in Don Juan DeMarco. Loved it. (before his spiral down hill.)

I will stick with Eric Bana (Alexander); Christian Bale (Batman Begins, American Psycho) Ed Norton (The Score, The Illusionist); Michael Caine (Anything); Ewan Mc Gregor (Trainspotting, Moulin Rouge); Robert Downey Jr. (Restoration.)

"...in Lisbon, for example, someone shot a woman in broad day-light in a busy street and no one saw a thing, no one heard a thing. So, you see...it could easily happen in Europe, cause people never get to see anything (I don't even know how it is possible)."

People are afraid to get involved. Even the eye witnesses see someone who is not there.

    "But when to stop, then?"

You have to come to a stopping point, but know in your heart that it never stops.

"I don't feel comfortable with the way she chose to lead her campaign either. In the beginning I thought that she could do something good but then...well, everybody had the chance to witness it."

She is hanging on to a dream - and a cheating husband! Sad. Let go of them. Let go!

    "you forgot her anti-press offspring..."

    I didn't forget, I just didn't mention it.

    Extra Smooth Cheers

  16. Alexys,

"Yes, I call that, "phoneus interruptus!" Ha ha." - ROFL! Cool term LOL....

"He is oddly dark. He married his perfect partner. Helen Bonham Carter. I think he should have married JD." - LOL LOL I kind of like Helen Bonham, I like her dark acting (did you see her Morgana representation? Not my favourite concept of Morgana, but her acting was superb, good technique).

"That film was From Hell. I used to think he was a good actor especially in the earlier films, but now he is a joke. Since he did Edward Scissorhands, he's become too clownish." - Didn't like this movie.

    "In Pirates...he did a silly accent." - I agree.

"In Willie Wonka he directly ripped off Austin Powers." - don't remember this one.

"In Sweeney Todd, he was a continuation of Edward Scissorhands, except he used a different blade to slit throats." - LOL LOL LOL...this is a great one!

"In From Hell, he wasn't believable as Jack The Ripper. Now when I look at him, all I see is a cartoon character." - funny, I didn't perceive him as being Jack the Ripper, although he got awfully weird after the absynth sessions *nodding* (intended to aid him with his clairvoyance but I think it made him mad instead - as it happens to all who use chimicals to do something that the mind does by itself, but don't wish to discipline it first).

"Btw, he has a career because his ex wife (an actress) introduced him to Nicolas Cage who in turn introduced him to his agent." - didn't know this....

"I loved his performance in Don Juan DeMarco. Loved it. (before his spiral down hill.)" - me too. Pirates *nodding*...what went through his mind? Money?

"I will stick with Eric Bana (Alexander); Christian Bale (Batman Begins, American Psycho) Ed Norton (The Score, The Illusionist); Michael Caine (Anything); Ewan Mc Gregor (Trainspotting, Moulin Rouge); Robert Downey Jr. (Restoration.)" - I love Eric Bana (virile)! Ed Norton; Michael Caine, Ewan McGregor, Robert Downey Jr, Harvey Keitel, Sam Neil, Laurence Fishburne, Daniel Day Lewis etc...

"People are afraid to get involved. Even the eye witnesses see someone who is not there." - I hear you, girl!

"You have to come to a stopping point, but know in your heart that it never stops." - you are right! *bowing*

"She is hanging on to a dream - and a cheating husband! Sad. Let go of them. Let go!" - True, true. LOL they have been released LOL...

"I didn't forget, I just didn't mention it." - LOL I don't wish to sound mean, but that girl should never speak in public; period. It was a bad strategic move.

    Mellow Cheers

  19. Max,

"Helen Bonham, I like her dark acting (did you see her Morgana representation? Not my favourite concept of Morgana, but her acting was superb, good technique)."

I agree, she is a good actor. I didn't see that one. I liked her performance in Fight Club and Big Fish. Unlike American actors, the Brits are trained and usually good actors, all except Hugh Grant.

"I didn't perceive him as being Jack the Ripper, although he got awfully weird after the absynth sessions *nodding* (intended to aid him with his clairvoyance but I think it made him mad instead."

    Exactly! Absynth causes madness.

I think JD is still salvageable, if he stops trying to create something different and just lets the character flow through him naturally.

"I love Eric Bana (virile)! Ed Norton; Michael Caine, Ewan McGregor, Robert Downey Jr, Harvey Keitel, Sam Neil, Laurence Fishburne, Daniel Day Lewis."

Definitely a lofty group. I forgot to mention Hugh Jackman in Kate & Leopold - wonderful performance.

"I don't wish to sound mean, but that girl should never speak in public; period. It was a bad strategic move."

ROFL. They (her parents) think she was brilliant too. Hey we have to call them as we see them. I am still looking for a place for them all to retire. Do you have any room in Portugal for them? Perhaps Rio de Janeiro - some place right under O Cristo Redentor!

    Lofty Cheers

  20. Alexys,

"I agree, she is a good actor. I didn't see that one. I liked her performance in Fight Club and Big Fish. Unlike American actors, the Brits are trained and usually good actors, all except Hugh Grant." - The TV movie where she played Morgana (Morgan le Fey) was called "Merlin" (1998), very good. Fight Club was a violent movie, but she was good in it. Big Fish: loved it! She was extremely good! True, my friend, true! LOL LOL Hugh Grant...is he an actor? LOL...I don't like his acting either...*nodding*...too fake, too expressionless.

"Exactly! Absynth causes madness." - absolutely!

"I think JD is still salvageable, if he stops trying to create something different and just lets the character flow through him naturally." - I hear you!!

"Definitely a lofty group. I forgot to mention Hugh Jackman in Kate & Leopold - wonderful performance." - excellent group of actors, indeed. Such a cute movie!!! Believe it or not: I loved it! Hugh Jackman was great in that film...I must agree with you.

"ROFL. They (her parents) think she was brilliant too. Hey we have to call them as we see them. I am still looking for a place for them all to retire. Do you have any room in Portugal for them? Perhaps Rio de Janeiro - some place right under O Cristo Redentor!" - LOL LOL they are parents...and parents sometimes go blind on certain things *nodding*. But since we didn't give birth to her, we see what is; and we are not ashamed of it. LOL well, Portugal has Serra da Estrela (a very nice hideout in the mountains lol); but Rio de Janeiro would be the best place for them...lots of sun, beaches (for dad lol), great music, good food...O Cristo Redentor...they'll like it Alexys!

    Good acting Cheers

  31. Hi! It's all becoming clearer. Jilted lovers mixed with industrial espionage and a touch of death.

I'm not sure who jilted who, but I suspect Elaine may have been left at the alter by Buonfiglio and that's why her father is not so happy with him.

So much for my love triangle as this case now only has two sides.

Now the secret recipe worth killing over may have military or industrial applications. Either one looks like bringing in heaps of money.

As for the hired assassins, perhaps "The Mob" may have a hand in this as well.

So now I'm back to my triangle but in this case it's a crime triangle with further twists and turns to come.

I'm left thinking did Elaine really want him dead? - Stay turned for the next thrilling episode.

    Take Care,
    Peter

  32. Hi again, my dear Max,

If you have time, do you mind reading the beginning of my story here:

    The Painter

Found the above site coincidentally and I just thought I'd give it a try. I wrote that bit years back but I've never finished it. The greatest thing about this site is that you can write parts of stories OR continue other people's stories he he he...

They're also running a contest with money prizes. I think I'll try it later on. Since you write so well, I just wanna know your comment on my writing he he he...THANKS in advance!!! No hurry, thoughhhhhh he he he...

  33. Peter!

Always so nice to see you, mate! :D

"It's all becoming clearer. Jilted lovers mixed with industrial espionage and a touch of death." - LOL that is a great synopsis!

"I'm not sure who jilted who, but I suspect Elaine may have been left at the alter by Buonfiglio and that's why her father is not so happy with him." - LOL LOL LOL that was a great one! But something tells me that it is not quite it...

"Now the secret recipe worth killing over may have military or industrial applications. Either one looks like bringing in heaps of money." - industrial implications, correct! Huge amounts of money are involved indeed, my friend...

"As for the hired assassins, perhaps "The Mob" may have a hand in this as well." - *bowing*!

"So now I'm back to my triangle but in this case it's a crime triangle with further twists and turns to come." - LOL "crime triangle" loved it!!! LOL

"I'm left thinking did Elaine really want him dead? - Stay turned for the next thrilling episode." - LOL awesome!!!

Peter, thank you so much for your review...most interesting and intelligent (if you ask me) *bowing*!

  35. hi max! i really don't know what happened but i came here last week, read the sequel and commented. i was actually the second one to make a comment but when i browsed through your comments, it wasn't there, oh well, there must be something wrong with blogger at that time.

    anyways, here's my comment

hehe, all along it was because of a recipe... i wonder what kind of recipe to make him stalk elaine and why was she so afraid of him? i can't wait! hehe.

  36. Hey Liza,

Oh dear...it happens a lot unfortunately! What you need to do is to be attentive at the top of the comment page to see if it says "Your comment has been saved and..." in green, if this doesn't show then your message won't show (it happened to me a lot of times before I started noticing this detail)!

LOL yes, it was because of a recipe (a biological preservative)! LOL Ok, I will think about of a sequel ;D!

    Thanks for your comment darling!

    Cheers
